El Comité de Celebración Martin Luther King:
Anuncia la 28 celebración regional -anual de Martin Luther King, Jr. Este lunes 17 de Enero 2011. Talleres de 9:30am a 11:00am, manifestación a las 11:00am y marcha a las 12:00 pm.
Este año marcharemos de la Secundaria Garfield (23 ª Avenida y Jefferson) hasta el Edificio Federal en la 2 ª Avenida. Inmediatamente después de la marcha se servirá refrigerios GRATIS en el comedor de la escuela Garfield para todos los participantes!
Se necesitan voluntarios: Todos los miembros de la comunidad, organizaciones, grupos de jóvenes y personas que quieran trabajar como voluntarios en el día del homenaje al Dr. King, por favor preséntese a la orientación obligatoria en la secundaria Garfield (400 Avenida 23) el Martes 11 de enero 2011 a las 6:00PM. Seattle tiene una de las mayores celebraciones anuales del día de Martin Luther King de los Estados Unidos. Nosotros honramos el Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. por su trabajo hacia la igualdad racial y la justicia económica para toda la gente, por su compromiso con la no violencia y por su posición contra la guerra y el militarismo.

The Martin Luther King Celebration Committee announces the 28th Annual region-wide Martin Luther King, Jr.,Celebration on Monday January 17 , 2011. Workshops at 9:30am-11am, Rally at 11am, and March at 12pm.
This year we will March from Garfield High School (23rd Ave & Jefferson) to the Federal Buidling on 2nd Ave. Immediately after the March refreshments will be served at Garfield’s lunchroom FREE to all participants!
Volunteers Needed: All community members, organizations, youth groups, and individuals who want to volunteer on the day of this year’s salute to Dr. King, please report to the mandatory orientation at Garfield High School (400 23rd Avenue) at 6pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.
